Description:
Marka Industrial Area is one of Amman’s oldest and most established manufacturing districts and has played an important role in the development of Jordan’s industrial sector since the 1950s. Located in eastern Amman, it contains a dense concentration of factories, workshops, warehouses and industrial suppliers.
The area accommodates food manufacturing, packaging and paper products, plastics, metal fabrication, machinery, furniture, footwear, paints, automotive components, water-treatment equipment and other light and medium industries. Its location near Army Street and the main roads connecting Amman with Zarqa gives businesses convenient access to labour, commercial markets and transportation networks.
