The Irbid District Electricity Company (IDECO) is one of Jordan’s three principal electricity distribution companies, responsible for supplying reliable electrical power to the northern governorates, including Irbid, Ajloun, Jerash, and Mafraq. Established in 1957, the company operates under the regulation of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) and serves residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and governmental customers through an extensive electricity distribution network.

IDECO provides a comprehensive range of services, including new electricity connections, meter installation and maintenance, billing and collections, network operation and maintenance, outage response, technical support, and electronic services such as online bill payments, account management, service requests, complaints, and outage reporting.
